For this very special event, Anastassiya will perform a program created as a homage to her mother, a violinist, who passed away unexpectedly over the winter. The program will feature some of the jazz compositions that her mother enjoyed listening to, as well as dedication pieces. The intimate evening will have different duo compositions with the featured international musicians listed below:
Anastassiya Petrova (Kazakhstan) - piano
Angela Varo (Spain) - violin
Soso Gelovani (Republic of Georgia)- double bass
Pritesh Walia (India) - guitar
In Anastassiya's words: "It hasn't been easy and I want to thank everyone who has been with me through this journey. My mom was an extraordinary violinist. We never got a chance to record together, only performed occasionally, but we did have some tracks that we loved and kept listening to throughout the years. Please join me in celebration of my mom's life and music that connects all of us together through time."
