Join violinist Yaeko Elmaleh and JArts for the latest in JLive events, our “bite-size” series of free, live events with some of the best talent in greater Boston.
Yaeko Elmaleh may be the only local violinist who has performed with both Itzhak Perlman and Stevie Wonder. Her distinctive musical style incorporates a broad range of influences and was influenced by her multicultural upbringing: Her mother and father immigrated from France and El Salvador, respectively, in the 1960s.
A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Yaeko has been a member of the world-renowned Klezmer Conservatory Band and has performed in the Eternal Echoes project with Itzhak Perlman and Cantor Yitzchak Meir Helfgot, as well as leading her own ensemble. JLive is proud to join Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall and Prairie Home Companion in showcasing her artistry.
