On June 19, the Mendon Twin Drive-In will be transformed into Margaritaville while Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band perform a live concert at the Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth, TX. To celebrate the inaugural group partaking in the new “Live at the Drive-In” series, the concert will be broadcasted nationwide and streamed live on the screens of drive-ins across America, including the beloved Mendon Twin Drive-In.
As a weeknight reprieve from movie screenings, Phantom Gourmet’s Andelman brothers will showcase the exclusive concert and open the gates for parrot-heads to tailgate with food, beverages and fun. The Mendon Twin Drive-In’s vintage Snack Shack will be open and serving up a wide variety of Phantom¬¬-approved bites and Firefly’s BBQ will fire up downhome favorites outside. To put the lime in the coconut, participating drive-ins will donate a portion of the proceeds to a foundation working to preserve the great American tradition of drive-in theaters.
