Join Jerry Pinkney, Caldecott medal-winning children's illustrator and Honorary Chair of Family Trees for a program demonstrating his art and career at the Concord Museum. From the fairy tales his mother read to him, to family stories of the Great Migration, and his own journey as a reluctant reader to the illustrator of classics works of literature, Pinkney shows us the "magic in the turning of the page." Book signing to follow the presentation. Books available for sale. Be sure to check out the Family Tree inspired by Pinkney's The Grasshopper and the Ants. Free. For reservations contact www.concordmuseum.org or call 978-369-9763 x216.
