Oscar-nominated writer and comedian Jena Friedman headlines Crystal Ballroom on Tuesday, April 9. On the heels of the release of her critically acclaimed comedy special “Ladykiller”, streaming now on Peacock, Jena brings a new hour of her most personal stand-up yet. Jena has performed stand-up on CONAN and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, was a field producer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and a writer on The Late Show with David Letterman, Borat 2: Subsequent Movie Film and The Conners. Fans also know Jena as the host of the hit crime series Indefensible on AMC Plus and the creator of Soft Focus on Adult Swim. Her book of personal essays titled “Not Funny” was hailed as a “hilarious and much-needed book” (Samantha Bee) and “extremely funny” (Sasha Baron Cohen) and will be available in paperback May 7.
