An Evening of Jazz and Culinary Delights with Caio e Jess at Rochambeau
Rochambeau, in collaboration with the Boston Jazz Foundation, welcomes you to an evening with Jazz and exquisite dining on March 14th at 7PM.
Savor a $65 prix fixe dinner, each dish curated to enhance the night's exquisite jazz led by the internationally renowned Caio e Jess. Prefer a lighter experience? Opt for $20 General Admission and enjoy the performance with access to the bar in our standing room area.
Caio e Jess is led by American vocalist, Jessica Curran and Brazilian guitarist, Caio Afiune. Both professors at Berklee College of music and with awards such as the ASCAP Young Composers Award and John Lennon Songwriting Contest under their belts, Caio e Jess provide an ethereal, unique and immersive show of virtuosic electricity. Currently, the two are gearing up to release their debut full-length album of original music entitled, “Encontro”, featuring some of the finest musicians from around the globe including prestigious guests such as Laura Perrudin, Michael Mayo, Henrique Eisenmann and Raphael Barata.
Max Ridley - Bassist Maxwell Salinger-Ridley's musical narrative is as diverse as it is profound. From conducting along with the Boston Pops as a toddler to becoming a staple in Boston's jazz scene, his journey is a testament to his deep musicality. Maxwell's spiritual journey and commitment to music education, including his work with Subject:Matter and teaching roles across New England, reflect his holistic approach to music.
Dor Herskovits- Boston based Israeli drummer Dor Herskovits is already a staple of the Boston jazz scene and has won international acclaim as an improviser. Herskovits has recorded many albums as a sideman, featured on labels such as Newvelle and Endectomorph music, alongside musicians such Grammy award-winning guitarist Bill Frisell, Michael Blake and Jason Palmer.
Rochambeau's refined setting is the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary evening where the essence of jazz and the art of fine dining intertwine.
