A longtime fixture on Boston's jazz and funk scenes, saxophonist Jared Sims is now Director of Jazz Studies at West Virginia University. I'm thrilled to host the Boston-area celebration of the release of his new Ropeadope CD, 'Change of Address.' This show will feature the same top-shelf band that joined Jared and his bari sax on the record: Steve Fell on guitar, Nina Ott on organ, Chris Lopes on bass and Jared Seabrook on drums.
