Join us for this unique workshop led by Hiroko Watanabe, a renowned calligrapher from Japan, and create a custom lampshade adorned with calligraphy of your choice.


Date: April 25th (Friday)

Time: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM / 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Two sessions, max. 5 participants per session)

What You'll Do

In this workshop, you’ll select a Kanji character that resonates with you—whether it’s your name, a meaningful word, or a favorite symbol. With expert guidance, you'll write the character on heat-resistant washi paper.


What makes this workshop special is that it's not just about writing your favorite Kanji character. Hiroko will help you how to add an artistic aspect to the character, enhancing it with design elements that transform it into a beautiful piece of art!


All materials, including the light bulb and socket, are provided in this two-hour workshop. No previous experience is necessary!
