Saturday, September 25, 2001 at 8:00pm at Harvard-Epworth Church in Cambridge will witness the many talents of David Coleman as pianist and composer in a program entitled Invitation to the Dance. Comfortable in musical styles from gospel to classical, Mr. Coleman will perform on keyboard in David Baker’s piano trio, Boogie Woogie, and as composer in his Sonata con Fusion with Gabriela Díaz, violin. Music of Leonard Bernstein, Paquito D’Rivera, William Bolcom, Guillaume Connesson, and Astor Piazzolla will round out this diverse program.
