Start the new year with a splash! Did you know 2020 is a ukulele chord?
In six weeks, learn to play this portable and fun instrument. In a small class (up to 8 people), get the attention you deserve to correctly hold your ukulele, tune it, read chord diagrams, finger the basic chords, and strum it. Navigate the world of song sheets to sing your favorite songs.
Classes run six consecutive Tuesday evenings: 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11.
About the instructor:
Born in Brunei and raised in Taiwan and Okinawa, Anne Ku's musical journey began on the piano, eventually discovering the ukulele while teaching music in Hawaii. Since publishing her MA in Music thesis on ukulele song sheets and participative music making, she has started a ukulele club and authored a new book on her curriculum for complete beginners. http://www.anneku.com
What previous students have said:
Anne is tremendously knowledgeable about music. She creates a positive and fun learning environment. She offers a breadth of helpful techniques for people who are just beginning their ukulele journey.
Anne is so passionate about music and spreading her love of playing that is it impossible not to get swept up in the excitement! I've never had a quicker return on investment than the short several weeks I've spent in her ukulele classes!
