Previously and also known as the ukulele crash course for complete beginners, learn to uke, or beginning ukulele, this 1.5 hour workshop has no pre-requisites. You don't even need your own ukulele as there are various ones for you to try.
You will also get advice on where and how to get your first ukulele.
Learn to hold, tune, and play this fun and social instrument, including your first song!
Register for either this session only or all five sessions for a discount. Also offered on Sunday January 20, 2020 at 2 pm.
The location is a unique place to experience learning and making music. The Walter Baker Building is the former administrative head office of the oldest chocolate factory in the USA, straddling over the Neponset River in Historic Lower Mills, but now housing working artists. The building has the big signs "Walter Baker" above it. Easy access from Milton T-station on the red line to Ashmont. Free street parking and on nearby approved lots.
