The Robo Hub presents an intensive 3-hour introduction to Data Science and AI designed for high school students. Created in partnership with MIT AI Professor Manolis Kellis, this workshop will be taught by peer students from Professor Kellis' team.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to understand how data can be used to understand the world around us and how AI can help us crunch though seemingly impossible amounts of information. Even Mr. Beast uses AI to automatically update his YouTube content!
You will learn through interactive, hands-on work covering foundational concepts, predictive modeling, AI agents, data scraping, and AI applications in business. Attendees will have a chance to build their own projects and present to the group. Students will gain experience with essential tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), and Google Colab, and will have access to the Mantis AI platform for interactive data exploration and analysis.
Students should bring their own laptops.
Limited seats available.
