In this one session intensive workshop, we will learn about the process of making cyanotypes. Sometimes referred to as sun prints or blueprints, cyanotype is a 19th century photographic printing process that uses UV light to create a cyan blue print. Students will learn about the history of the process, as well as learn to coat paper and expose prints. We will use both the sun and indoor sources of UV light.


Students are encouraged to bring photo negatives, flat objects, or different shaped 3D objects. No previous experience required.
