Scout, Northeastern’s student-led design studio, is hosting its inaugural design conference: Interventions! Through a series of lectures and workshops, this conference is a space for creatives to consider the consequences of design interventions and examine the intentions of their work. Learn more and buy tickets at https://interventions.design/.
In a society where design is used as a powerful tool for change, prominent designers will explore topics such as what role design plays in dividing or connecting us, measuring the impact of design, and examining the societal responsibilities of designers. Leaders and creatives from Github, Airbnb, and Monotype, to name a few, will be exploring these themes and challenging ideas on conventional design.
Your ticket includes:
- The best bag of swag you will ever receive
- Food on us! Light breakfast, tasty lunch, & strong coffee
- A post-conference reception with catered appetizers. Come hang out, make some new friends, and chat with our speakers and sponsors!
Admission:
$200 General Admission and $50 for students with a valid ID. You can buy tickets at https://interventions.design/.
Please note: If you purchase a student ticket, you must have a matching student ID or you will be denied entry.
The conference is happening on April 7, 2018 at Northeastern University’s Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Center. See you there!
