Are you looking to enhance your brush lettering skills by learning more about flourishes, composition, and different modern lettering styles? Join Amelia and Natasha of We're Into It for an in depth, intermediate level lettering workshop, hosted at the design and letterpress shop Albertine Press. If you already know the basics of brush lettering and have some practice time under your belt, this workshop will help you take your work from basic to unbelievable! It's also a great follow-up for students who have attended our past introductory level events.
We're Into It specializes in hand lettering in a variety of calligraphic styles. Come ready to learn everything about composition, embellishments, and alternative lettering techniques. You'll be inspired to create your own complex compositions, and will learn steps to finesse your hand lettered details for snail mail, stationery, home décor, DIY gifts, wedding materials, and more! What better way to expand your lettering practice than in a relaxed, small group setting with a glass of wine in hand? (Yes, there will be plenty of complimentary wine!) Come join us for a fun evening in this creative space.
All materials are included in registration, including a take-home kit of fun lettering materials – a practice workbook, a set of lettering pens, materials to create a custom piece, and a personalized gift from We're Into It. Everything is yours to take home at the end of the class!
