Tour the tomb of a 4,000-year-old Egyptian Queen with virtual reality!
Advance registration required by Friday, September 13.
In this hands-on workshop, learn how the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture create immersive experiences for visitors. Museum educators will introduce teens to virtual reality apps using Oculus headsets and other 3D media to explore this ancient wonder. Through activities, teens will compare this mode of learning to others to see which they like best.
Teen Saturdays workshops are designed to build community and improve the museum experience for multicultural and Spanish-speaking teens. Workshops are presented bilingually in Spanish and English. Snacks provided!
$10 fee includes free admission to all HMSC museums following the workshop.
Teens receive a membership worth $100 after attending three or more 2024 fall semester Teen Saturday Workshops. Or, receive a free admission pass (worth $15) for a return visit if you attend one of the four sessions.
