In The Park is an invitation to a shared experience of communal eating, creative documenting, and open mic style sharing.


Adobo-Fish-Sauce will facilitate the journey and guide you through moments of intentionality called recipes.


These recipes, developed by youth poet-chefs in workshops throughout the year, invite participants to dive deeper into their cultural identity, provide a menu of questions for cross-cultural dialogue, and carve out time for intentional art making.


In thinking of both safety and intimacy for the event, space is limited. We kindly ask people to RSVP.


Itinerary *please arrive on time in order to eat on time, together :)


1. Doors open @ 1:30pm
Art Making/Activities with light drinks


2. Lunch catered by Haley House Cafe & Bakery a guided eating experience that follows our 5 bites recipe


3. Open Mic with special guest performances Sharing reflections on the evening as well as featuring youth poet-chefs and friends of Adobo-Fish-Sauce.

as guests partake in alter building throughout the event we honor our moment together through this closing ceremony

Main dish options of curry veggies with chickpeas, chicken pillau, spiced baked chicken thighs, and jerk chicken thighs.


With side options of rice & beans, roasted plantain, mac & cheese, and assorted cookies.
