Pianist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Marco Benevento has developed a devoted fanbase over the course of seven studio albums and multiple tours around the world, while drawing critical praise from tastemakers far and wide.
As the LA Times says, “It’s safe to say that no one sees the keyboard quite like Marco Benevento’s genre-blind mashup of indie rock, jazz and skewed improvisation.” NPR Music raves that Marco combines “the thrust of rock, the questing of jazz, and the experimental ecstasy of jam.”
Since studying performance at Berklee College of Music, Marco has patented a unique acoustic piano sound, augmented and evolved by various pedals and audio effects including circuit bent toys (like Speak & Spell!), drum machines, synthesizers, and other keyed instruments like toy pianos.
Join us virtually for an intimate acoustic piano performance and conversation inside our Piano Technology benchroom, where we’ll delve into Marco’s creative genius and how he sees the keyboard so differently than the rest.
