This concert is a celebration of the rich and diverse musical heritage of Latin America that brings together a talented cast of Berklee students who will honor the legendary Latin American artists that have shaped the course of music history.
From the passionate rhythms of Celia Cruz to the heartfelt lyrics of Djavan, and the soulful melodies of Franco de Vita, each student performer will embody the spirit and essence of at least one Latin American idol, infusing their own unique style and cultural influences into every note they play.
The performance will feature an eclectic mix of Latin American music styles, including salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bolero, showcasing the wide range of rhythms and musical traditions that have defined the Latin American sound.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, culture, and celebration, as we honor the Ídolos Latinos who have left an indelible mark on the world of music.
