Annual Ice Cream Festival
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Everyone’s favorite summer event is back— and bigger than ever! Enjoy live music by Stacey Peasley, games by Kids in Sports, face painting by TCW Norwood, Jimmy's pizza, and, of course, delicious ice cream with toppings! Plus, new this year is a dunk tank with some of Walpole's finest police officers volunteering to "Dunk for the Park"! You also can take in the new community art exhibit at the park — READ all about it, ART in the PARK! The exhibit showcases twenty 3D still or interactive works of art by local artists (of all ages) inspired by a book of their choosing. The project is a partnership between the Walpole Public Library, the Walpole Council on Aging, and the Trustees. Stroll with your ice cream to view the installations found throughout the park. Music and all activities (except for the dunk tank) are free. Ice Cream with toppings is $3/bowl, and pizza is $2/slice. Proceeds from food sales and the dunk tank support park improvements and future events.

Where: Music Court (stone stage); Francis William Bird Park, East Walpole. Largest parking lot is on Polley Lane (use “135 Polley Lane” for GPS).
