It's game night at the ICA! Host Roger Clark Miller (Mission of Burma, Alloy Orchestra) channels Paris of the 1920s and 30s with Surrealist Game Night, an evening of mind-bending word and drawing games developed by André Breton and enjoyed by artists such as Marcel Duchamp, Joan Miró, and Man Ray. The consummate master of ceremonies, Miller will not only explain and lead the games, but he’ll also DJ – providing a surrealistic soundtrack to the evening.

Also at First Fridays: spotlight talks in Nick Cave and William Kentridge: The Refusal of Time, specialty cocktails, a design-your-own puzzle art making activity in the Bank of America Art Lab, riotous board games—Connect Four, Uno, Jenga, and more—to play with friends, and an all-out dance party led by DJ Bianca Oblivion!
