Human Movement Project, founded by choreographer and Certified Personal Trainer Kim Holman, is celebrating its launch in its permanent Hyde Park home at the Human Movement Lab with two weekends of events March 16-30 that celebrate its spaces for professional dance, performance, and physical wellness.
Created for adults that don’t consider themselves dancers, this open class is an opportunity to experience contemporary dance alongside professionals in a safe environment. Taught by Kim Holman (Luminarium Dance, Human Movement Project), we’ll learn new ways to move our bodies, take movement risks, and learn choreography while not taking ourselves too seriously.
Open to adults, beginners encouraged. Participants should wear comfortable clothes (layers are usually helpful) and socks and bring water.
Free/Suggested Donation. Email info@humanmvmtproject to RSVP.
