The Brotherhood of CMT invites you to breakfast and an inspiring conversation with Phillip Weiner was an International Judge at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was responsible for war crimes cases, serving as an Appellate Judge and presiding over many trials. His cases involved allegations of War Crimes, Crimes against Humanity and Genocide. During his judicial tenure in Bosnia, Judge Weiner became an active member of the Jewish Community and learned of its heroic actions during the siege. He has spoken extensively with those involved in saving lives as well as recipients of the Jewish Community's good works. More recently, Judge Weiner oversaw war crimes investigations relating to the Khmer Rouge regime. He was “knighted” for his efforts in training Cambodia’s judges, attorneys and police officers.
A light breakfast will be served.
Free if registered in advance, $5.00 at the door.
