House of Venus is an underground gallery established by Abby Ouellette and Kaylee Hennessey that introduces emerging artists to the Boston art scene through pop-up exhibitions. It is a domestic, avant garde, and revolutionary exhibition experience that pushes for the introduction and breakthrough of young talent.


For our first ever white wall exhibition as a pop-up gallery, we selected works that would engage the space from a roster of artists we had either worked with before or known personally. The bright use of color by many of these artists inspired the title, The Color of Fruition. The work as presented in this gallery is exactly what our dream as an opportunity for artists had always looked like to us, an idea that has finally come to fruition.
