Beethoven is often depicted as a misanthrope, but that is unfair. He had a close circle of devoted friends throughout his life and would often honor special students and colleagues with a composition in their name.


Longy is excited to announce that the acclaimed Horszowski Trio will be Ensemble-in-Residence this year. The trio will offer a series of three recitals exploring Homeland and its role in Beethoven’s life.
