Basic intro photography course

I will give out details about the parking and if we are going to cancel if rain is in the forecast. I will provide updates to your e-mail if it rains or drizzles.
Have you ever wanted to know how to take great photos? Learn framing, light direction, color balance, composition, etc. We will take photos of wildlife, macro, landscapes, possible insects, etc.
Horn Pond in Woubrn, MA is known for it's variety of wildlife species from deer, coyotes, and especially many bird species. End of April to May is migration season for birds.
Bring any camera that you feel comfortable with. A 12 Megapixel or more. A camera such a DSLR Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fuji with a 300mm - 600mm lens is best for getting bird photos. I currently use a Nikon DSLR D500 with 200-500mm lens and a Nikon Z8 with 180-600mm lens.
We'll meet at the parking lot at Horn Pond boat launch on Lake Avenue. There is plenty of parking this early in the morning.
Session is about 2 hours.
We will be doing a long walk around the pond so wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. Bring water or gatorade if needed, sunscreen, and three season gear. It may be cool in the AM. Long sleeve shirt, long pants, mosquito repellent, hat, liner gloves. All is not necessary.
