Parlor maids, chambermaids, cooks, caretakers, and chauffeurs: meet specific individuals who worked at Historic New England's Codman Estate.
Some employees remained for a season or two, while others stayed for decades, including Watson Tyler, the indispensable coachman and estate manager; Reine Lucas, nanny and later lady’s maid; and Dr. Philip Place, who chauffeured for the Codman family while attending medical school.
Explore the Codman House domestic experience from their point of view from cellar to attic.
Historic New England members are free, general admission is $5.
The link for the webinar will be included in the order confirmation for this program.
