Author Jamie Blanco has published a remarkable book, co-authored with her late father, Jimmy Blanco. Hope for the Hopeless is the inspiring story of her father’s battle against the world’s most aggressive and deadly form of brain cancer.
Against all odds he managed to live more than 8 years using a purely holistic approach, all the while relying on his deep faith.
Jimmy began to chronicle his journey but sadly it was never finished. His manuscript was discovered 15 years after his death and passed to Jamie, a writer and award-winning radio news producer.
Jamie has applied her skills to research the alternative treatments that contributed to her father’s longevity as well as the latest promising brain tumor clinical trials. She also explores the impact of faith on health and wellbeing, the cornerstone of her father’s success for nearly a decade.
Jamie will present her book and share her story following worship on December 4.
