The gorgeous, award-winning blue lights will be back the end of November!! The annual lighting ceremony is canceled but enjoy the beauty of one of the most romantic places in Boston.

ABOUT


Thanks to the generosity of our members and corporate sponsors, the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park with support from the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department illuminates the trellis with blue lights every winter. The illuminated trellis has been named one of the "Ten Most Romantic Places in Boston" and year 'round it is the site of marriage proposals, wedding photos and lovers kissing. In 2019, the Boston Globe named the illuminated trellis the "best Holiday Decoration in Boston."
