This is the second holiday season where we are in the midst of a global pandemic and working people continue to bear the brunt of it. Our families and communities are still under the threat of losing jobs, income, and housing. And what do the millionaires and billionaires in government do about it? They argue with each other and then go on vacation while we are left trying to figure out how to survive!

During the holiday season, working mothers and families are forced to choose between getting basic necessities and getting toys and gifts for their children. This is criminal negligence on the part of the government. But one thing we do know is this: Our communities always come together to share what we have, especially during the holiday season. In this spirit, the Boston Liberation Center will be distributing toys and gifts to children of all ages!

As we approach 2022, we will need to continue coming together and fighting for the things that capitalist Santa isn’t delivering: guaranteed jobs, an eviction freeze, cancellation of rents, free internet, universal free healthcare, and more.
