Ever sit down at a restaurant and get completely overwhelmed by the beer menu? It feels like new styles of beer are gaining popularity ever day. Interested in learning more about where the beer you’re drinking comes from and how it got to your hand?
(Hint: it’s older than you might think)
Join Justin Tuerk (Beer Historian at Aeronaut Brewing and Beer Curator at Brookline Liquor Mart) for an exploration (and guided tasting!) of the wonderful world of beer. Justin will be discussing the fascinating history of beer while enjoying tasty examples of beer styles that span the globe and centuries.
From the hoppy beers that dominate the IPA scene to the malty and sour beers that are quickly gaining in popularity, you’ll sample a wide variety of flavors and learn how to identify each one.
Dinner will be served!
