Cambridge, MA - HipStory is proud to announce the launching of the HipStory House Party Digital series. The first showing will kick off on Saturday, June 13, from 7 pm to 9 pm.
HSHP Digital is the virtual offering of our original HSHP experience. HSHP recreates the live performance and house party elements of Hip-Hop, which gave birth to its distinct value of lyricism and showmanship in ciphers in the 80s. It allows artists to showcase their music in an affordable and comfortable environment. Many local favorites such as Latrell James, Oompa, and our own Cliff Notez have used HSHP to exhibit their artistry and talent.
The first digital HSHP installment will feature Boston-based songmaker and boy king, Anjimile, Roxbury rapper and songwriter, Najee Janey, and #YourCommunityDJ, DJ WhySham.
Just as our in-person House Parties, HSHP Digital will use a “PayWhatUCan” ticket price. Due to the multitude of needs for our community, we will donate proceeds from tickets to a national justice-based organization or a local non-profit. Our goal for each event is to raise at least $500. Our first recipient will be the Mass Bail Fund.
Message from the Maker:
“HipStory Digital is true to what we do. We want to make a good time for everyone, make sure the right people benefit and keep people as safe as possible at the same time” - Founder, Cliff Notez
