Mount Pemigewasset is a 2,557 foot mountain located in Lincoln, NH right off I-93. It is also known as Indian Head. The mountain is on the 52 with a view hiking list, because it is under 4,000 feet in elevation and offers incredible views from the bare open summit. Although spring has begun, it is still possible that we will have some low temperatures at higher altitudes so we need to be prepared for these conditions and have all of the required gear below. Please remember before signing up that you are joining like-minded enthusiasts and therefore, are responsible for your own safety & preparedness and you agree to follow the COVID guidelines.

Expectations
You are responsible for having a map of this hike (digital/physical); this is not a guided hike. This hike will not be a speed hike- don't sign up if you're going for bullet train velocity! We will hike as a group and remain as a group. We will go at a slow/moderate pace with frequent breaks. Although winter is officially over we will likely encounter winter conditions at higher altitudes so this hike is good for anyone new to winter hiking who has taken the Ridjit winter hiking class (or equivalent) and you have all of the required gear. This trip is limited in the number of non-carpoolers who can join since our community is based on the accessibility. Please write your experience once you join if your Ridj-it profile does not have an extensive history. This will not be a killer hike since we're looking at 3.7 miles or so with 1,200 ft elevation gain - very doable for people with hiking experience.
