AllTrails Description:Get to know this 10.4-mile loop trail near Wonalancet, New Hampshire. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 7 h 23 min to complete. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas.

Looking to bag a couple moderate (as the 4k footers go, this is probably "hard" overall) peaks this Memorial Day Weekend? Join me in this 10.4 mile hike up Mts. Passaconaway and Whiteface! We'll be hiking at a moderate (1.5 mph) pace via the trail linked above. In addition to the gear list below, bring a positive and friendly attitude; I'd like us to hike as a group!
Gear requirements:
-Hiking shoes/trail runners (no sneakers)
-Non-cotton layers: I can't see the weather this far out but later this week it's looking like 50s/60s so prepare for those conditions! Weather in the Whites can turn quickly so be aware of that too
-2L water
-Food/snacks
-Bug spray
-Sunscreen
-Microspikes - Some AllTrails reviewers mentioned it was icy near the top a couple weeks ago. Not sure if it still will be by next weekend, but can't hurt just in case!
