1. Trip description: This hike is rated as moderate because of the 1,650 feet of elevation gain. Please do not attend if you have heart issues or hiking-induced asthma without proper medicine. The total mileage is 4.5 miles and should take 3 - 4 hours. Total elevation is 3,166 feet, and we will be going up White Dot and down White X. There is a lot of incline in the beginning of the hike, so you should be in relatively good shape or at least be ready to be pushed. The mountain can be finished within two hours or less for those who wish to do it as fast as possible, but that's not this type of trip. If you do want that type of hike, message me so we can get you started.


There will be time to take photos as we ascend/descend, but this is a physically-focused hike. You do not need prior experience hiking - just be in relatively good shape.


2. Gear: You do not need hiking boots for this trip, but they are highly recommended as you may otherwise slip in wet areas. Bring 2- 3 liters of water, bug spray, food, sunblock, sun glasses, hat, and a willingness to get a great workout. Please bring $5 to enter the park per person.
