Two Beloved Works (And A Prize-Winning Young Soloist)

 

Symphony by the Sea concludes its season with two of the most beloved and enduring works in the orchestral repertoire – Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.3 “Scottish” and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.

 

The “Scottish” Symphony continues to enchant audiences, transporting them on a musical journey that embraces the mystery and romantic allure of the Scottish landscape. 

 

Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto is a masterpiece of lyrical melodies, expressive solos, and a brilliant finale. Our soloist will be teenage violin virtuoso Keila Wakao, Grand Prize winner of the 2023 Boston Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition.


Ticket cost is $52.50 (inc. $7.50 service charge).
