Harvard Book Store's wildly popular annual "winter" warehouse sale will take place in early November this year, as a part of our Shop Early, Shop Local campaign. We want to allow for plenty of processing and shipping time to get you your books and holiday gifts in time, so we're kicking things off early.


Come shopping for bargains with our famous Warehouse Sale—now an online experience, with thousands of books at deep discounts, available to shop for a limited time only. Our Virtual Warehouse Sale takes place exclusively at www.hbswarehousesale.com, featuring bargains on thousands of remainder books. If you shopped the sale this summer, the November sale brings hundreds of new titles to explore—more books and more bargains. Historically we have opened up the doors of our Somerville Warehouse to the public several times a year, as book lovers explore stacks upon stacks of thoughtfully curated bargain books. The wildly popular sales (#HBSWarehouseSale on social media) have generally taken place over two weekends each summer and winter. This has all changed in the era of COVID-19. But we're pleased to keep this beloved tradition going strong through the challenges of 2020.


Bargain Books, Supplies Are Limited: Remainders are new books made available at dramatically discounted prices, typically 40-80% off the original list price. Supplies are limited at the Virtual Warehouse Sale. Many products will sell out!
