ARTS FIRST is Harvard University's annual four-day festival showcasing student and faculty creativity. Produced by the Office for the Arts at Harvard with support from the Harvard Board of Overseers, the festival is a public event with many free performances and activities for Harvard and community members of all ages. In addition to the many music, dance and other offerings at the festival’s signature Performance Fair on Saturday, April 29, 11:30 am - 5:00pm, various “Make Art” stations will offer attendees opportunities to engage in participatory activities, including figure drawing; wheel-throwing ceramics; acting Shakespeare; folding origami; and "Build a Bug"—creating arthropod sculptures inspired by real specimens from the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
