Come to Spectacle Island for HeatUp, VLA Dance's signature class!


HeatUp is a choreographed disco dance party encouraging you to get into your individual groove! Through dance cardio, weight training, and core exercises this class will encourage you to sweat, train and party. Class will be led by Sarah Pacheco and Victoria L. Awkward. Participants should bring the following:


-Sneakers


-Water bottle


-Yoga mat or towel

Arrive at Long Wharf North 30 minutes prior to your ferry departure (10:30am or 12:30pm).

VLA DANCE is a performance based Contemporary Dance company led by Victoria Lynn Awkward, based out of Roxbury's Hibernian Hall and Boston Center for the Arts. We aim to create pathways to freedom for people of all identities through contemporary dance.
