The pelvis is the structural centerpiece of the body. When imbalanced, it can manifest in a sense of tightness due to energy-consuming postural compensations and movement restrictions. This workshop will help you identify the postural position of your pelvis, teach you a little anatomy, offer an explanation for why your hips feel tight, and experience a short movement sequence that you can do at home to release your hip flexors, strengthen your glutes, and (re)balance your pelvis.

Kathryn is an Anatomy Trains Structural Integrator, Slings Myo-fascial Training Teacher Advanced Level, and is comprehensively trained in Mat and Equipment Pilates. In her continued quest to advance her client's movement potential, she dedicates her time to ongoing trainings and staying current with leading research in the field.
Kathryn works deliberately with her clients focusing on helping them find alignment, breath, effortless deep core support and increased movement possibilities. She believes the combination of structural bodywork and myofascial movement training methods offers the possibility to gain or regain mobility, balance, control, and agility in every body, opening up the increased possibility for spontaneity and joyful activity.
