Learn basic stitches to create an embroidered winter scene.


Join us for hands-on instruction and get introduced to embroidery basics. Learn the running stitch, back stitch, satin stitch and more as you create a unique wintry scene complete with snowflakes and trees. Each child will stitch their design in a 6" embroidery hoop and will take home additional supplies to continue their work.


PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS FOR CHILDREN WITH THEIR ADULT COMPANIONS. At this time, we are able to accommodate one adult per child participant. Adult companions must register along with their child(ren). Adults are not required to stay in the class with their children but are required to stay on the property while class is in session.


Each family unit will have their own socially distanced workspace and each child will receive a set of supplies to use or take home to complete their project. Materials will not be shared between participants. Price includes the cost of materials for child participants only.


This class is held indoors. Group size will adhere to current state restrictions and will not exceed 20 participants. All participants over the age of 2 are required to wear masks if they are able to do so.


Admission is included with the class price for non-members. Your class registration serves as your admission to the garden. Guests are welcome to arrive before the scheduled program time and enjoy the gardens and grounds.
