The Sil is getting spooky for Halloween as they bust out a night of tacos, tunes and tricks.

 

Allston’s favorite dive bar, The Silhouette Lounge, will bring the community and students alike into their decked-out lair by teaming up with their Brighton Ave neighbor, Amelia’s Taqueria, to treat partygoers to a free “Make Your Own Taco Bar.” The Sil reached out to Amelia’s – who recently lost everything due to a fire – to help a deserving neighbor by placing a Frankenstein-size catering order to bring a spread complete with grilled chicken, veggies, Mexican rice, black beans, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo and a duo of devilish hot sauces. If you want to sink your (vampire) teeth into something else, grab some Amelia’s homemade chips and top them with guacamole, pico de gallo and Amelia’s signature baja sauce. Make sure to dress to impress because the person rocking the best costume will take home a $50 gift card.

 

If you’re not looking to Monster Mash, come as you are to The Sil’s Dart Room ($10pp) where a trio of local live music acts will play including Tyler & The Names, Meteor Police and Scotty Malcom.
