Skip the weekend traffic and Visit Castle Hill at the Crane Estate with massAdventures! Experience the grandeur of a seaside estate, its marvelously landscaped grounds, restored Grand Allée, gardens, and Casino complex.
Each trip included a weekend commuter rail pass, roundtrip transportation to and from the station in ipswich, and the tour.
You will first join the guided Guest of the Cranes tour then have free time to explore the Grand Allée and gardens. The tour is a time capsule experience that takes you back to 1929, the Crane family’s first summer in the brand-new Great House. It is the second one the Cranes built at Castle Hill and it’s a stunner! The tour includes the family bedrooms, bathrooms, and guest rooms. You will be greeted at the door by household staff and your adventure as a “Guest of the Cranes” begins.
Note: The Grande Staircase has 30 steps. Unfortunately, there is no elevator. Headset amplifier available upon request.
