Come on over to the BNC and stretch your legs with a walk on our trails, and stretch your mind with an exploration of our forests, meadows, and seasonal wetlands. Join a BNC Teacher Naturalist for a stroll on the trails and enjoy the late fall beauty all around us. We will learn about how the trees of the BNC prepare for winter.
This hike is part of Mass Audubon's annual Hike-a-thon, which aims to get people of all ages and abilities outdoors the weekend after Thanksgiving to see for themselves just how powerful time outdoors can be for our physical and mental health.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please wear appropriate clothes for rain and/or cold weather.
Registration is required, and due to Covid-19 regulations, walk-ins can't be accommodated.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to pre-registered participants. Participants are required to wear a face covering when less than six feet apart, and when entering the building, and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program. This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
In the event of inclement weather, participants will be notified of a make up date.
