GROOVES FOR GOOD is back! For anyone that's new here, each month, we partner up with a non-profit organization and raise funds for them with a DANCE PARTY at the Aeronaut Cannery! We also support our monthly non-profit partner with a donation from Aeronaut, as well as encouraging guests to donate to the cause onsite!
.
This month, join us and VYOO with DJs Lenore and Joe Tagessian on SATURDAY (6/10) at 8pm as we dedicate our third Grooves for Good event to COMUNITY FRIDGE. The volunteers at Community Fridge believe the food is a right, not a privilege. With locations on Sewall Street and Prospect Street, the Somerville Community Fridge services those in need by offering no questions asked nutrition to anyone who needs it. A national network, made up of food equity warriors and run largely by volunteers, Community Fridge represents the ultimate grassroots philanthropy. Community Fridge will be onsite to educate you on their mission, share various avenues for you to get involved, and more!

Vyoo presents DJ Lenoreco-founder of elements, one of the longest running electronic music weeklies in the world, which launched at the Phoenix Landing in January of '99 and where it remains to this day.
House music was her first passion which drew her to collecting records and ultimately djing, but she soon discovered an affinity for breakbeats, jungle and dnb when perusing new releases at record stores in the mid '90s. Her night has brought in local, national and international talent to Boston, building the reputation of one of the most prestigious dnb events in the country and world. A resident of elements since its inception, she is known for her seamless style of mixing and forward-thinking selections. Her diverse record collection and discernment in procuring fresh new sounds has made her multi-genre sets some of her most sought-after of late.

Joe Tagessian aka Joey Tagz is a Boston-based house and techno DJ who enjoys getting his fingers dirty digging for vinyl. You can find Joe playing or throwing parties all throughout the New England area. Starting his DJ career at the Original club Therapy:. in Providence, Rhode Island playing as a resident DJ in the basement. Joe has been making his rounds at all the local hot spots as well as some major openings and gigs out of the country and throughout the states.
