Join a Mass Audubon Teacher Naturalist as we explore the Brook Farm National Historic Site and greet the summer solstice. We will learn a bit about the history of the 180 acre Brook Farm and explore the woods, searching for summer animal signs. The trail is generally wide and flat. We will cover approximately 3 miles. This conservation area is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
Learn the history of the famous Brook Farm utopian community that occupied this site from 1841-1847 as we explore woods, meadow, and marsh focusing on arriving migrants and other songbirds.
