Come to fun, family-friendly celebration uplifting the work of a variety of organizations focused on creating the sustainable Boston we want to see. At Dorchester's lovely Nightingale Community Garden, enjoy music and dancing, Nigerian food, guest speakers, and hands-on activities. Learn how to get involved in local efforts around sustainable food, composting, biking, green energy, and more. Meet composting worms, contribute to a climate zine, get your bike repaired for free and get down in the garden with A Trike Called Funk's DJing & mobile dance floor!
Partners include: Dorchester Food Coop, The Trustees Boston Community Gardens, The Food Project, Urban Farming Institute, Boston Cyclists' Union, Dotbike Kitchen, Resonant Energy, Asian American Resource Workshop, OASIS on Ballou, and more to come! Tasty Nigerian food from Suya Joint.
Free and open to all, with food and produce available for sale from local vendors. Registration is appreciated but not required--it does help us plan! Masks help keep you and our community safe and we encourage all attendees to wear a mask, particularly when in close proximity to others.
