Join us for our popular yearly talk with renowned American architectural historian Curt DiCamillo!
"Greed, Lust, and Murder: King Henry VIII, the Tudor Court, and How It Changed England Forever"
Tuesday, January 12, 2016, 7 pm at the Loring-Greenough House in Jamaica Plain.
We'll be regaled with a broad sweep of all five Tudor monarchs, encompassing their loves, personalities, art, architecture, and literature, all of which has come down to us today in many and surprising ways. In spite of their extreme shortcomings, there wouldn’t be an England today without the Tudors.
Then, enjoy desserts and wine in the elegant Dining Room.
Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the preservation of our JP gem, the Loring-Greenough House.
