INFO: The Greatest MINDS GENERATIONS Conference will explore the multigenerational experience of the indigenous Black Bostonians. We have invited 50 Black high school students, 50 college students, 50 young professionals, 50 parents, and 50 Black elders for a discussion on their educational experiences collectively from kindergarten to college in Boston. This discussion will illuminate ways we can help the next generation of Black Bostonians achieve success and wealth. Our conference centers on the Black Boston-born-and-raised experience, whereas other organizations are well-meaning, we get to the root causes of the indigenous Black Bostonians’ experiences who have experienced intergenerational poverty.
This conference will convene over three days, exploring the unique educational experiences of Black Bostonians through the years. We will explore the history of educational opportunities with middle and high school students as well as share the experiences of older Black Bostonians to pass down the history and importance of public education in this city. We plan to develop a new generation and cadre of engagement in this important work. Join us for one or all three days and bring the whole family. This is a free conference.
