Trader Joe's is opening a new store at 500 Boylston Street in Boston's Back Bay on Thursday, May 23, 2024. This new 11,486 sq. ft. location in Copley Square will be the second Trader Joe's in Boston licensed to sell alcohol. The store will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:00 AM.


Located just down the street from the smallest Trader Joe's in the world at 899 Boylston Street, this new store will provide a more spacious shopping experience while still offering the same beloved products.

The new Back Bay location will donate 100% of unsold but still enjoyable products to various non-profit, community-based organizations seven days a week.
